After last summer's inaugural success, Teresa is thrilled to return for the second season of this 4-week summer musical theatre class for rising 3rd through 7th graders through the Needham Community Education Summer Explorations program! As Musical Director, as well as co-Stage Director and co-Choreographer, Teresa is teaming up with drama educator, improv specialist, and fellow Mitchell Elementary mom Kristen Mazzocchi. Together they will be working with students to mount a full production of a musical (TBD). Class time will include drama games, vocal training, staging and musical rehearsals, as well as working together on all the technical aspects of mounting a complete musical (including sets, costumes, lighting and sound). M-F, 9:00 to 12:00pm.

When the global pandemic forced concert cancellations across the world, Teresa shifted her efforts to create meaningful training and opportunities for her students at Walnut Hill, leaning into technology and developing new skills (like this movie she created of their spring opera, Rachel Portman's The Little Prince, by adapting, producing and directing the piece over green screen, with students remote all over the world.
